The search engine Google awarded Our Sansar with $10, 000 a month worth of advertisements for the NGO in January. The Google content network comprises of hundreds of well known and high quality websites, online newspapers, blogs and many more pages.
The pages are partnered with Google to display targeted AdWords ads. Advertising on the content network allows the marketing reach to target audiences visting these sites every day.
It is the largest network for contextual advertising in the world. It reaches over 75% of unique internet users in more than 20 languages and over 100 countries, in other words it has the potential to reach three of every four internet user worldwide.
Julia Krepska, co-founding director of Our Sansar, said ‘it’s a fantastic opportunity for Our Sansar. It means we can inform the public of our Street Child Education Project in Nepal and attract donations and sponsorship from all over the world. This will have a great impact on the lives of the children we are working with’.
